Founded in 2000, Taplay Fire Protection has been providing fire safety solutions for over 21 years.
We hold a fleet of service vehicles capable of installing, maintaining, and inspecting all manner of fire protection services and electrical installations. We have a proven history and rigorous commitment to following the guidelines set out by the Ontario Fire Code, National Fire Code of Canada, and local municipality bylaws, meaning our services can be trusted as consistent and reliable.
Taplay Fire Protection offers a full range of products and fire protection options including the sale, service, and maintenance of fire equipment including fire alarm systems, portable fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, commercial kitchen fire suppression systems, special hazard systems, fire hoses and sprinkler systems.

Fire Equipment
We sell, service, and maintain fire equipment such as fire alarms, portable fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, commercial kitchen fire suppression systems, special hazard systems, fire hoses and sprinkler systems.
Inspections
Taplay Fire Protection Ltd. technicians are CFAA Registered and trained in the requirements and provisions of the Ontario Fire Code to assist you in remaining compliant. Our inspections are done to code and the deficiencies we identify are to bring you back to code compliance. All recommendations we make are based on the “best practice” theory.
Service and Maintenance
Since all of our services are regulated in accordance with Provincial Fire Code requirements, we will ensure proper scheduling and maintenance is upheld for your organization and is compliant with fire code regulations. We will also work with your local AHJ to ensure your systems meet the standards within your Municipality.
Inspections
An integral part of any fire protection system is regular inspections and service. Your fire protection systems requires an annual, semi-annual, and monthly inspections to ensure your fire protection systems are in proper working condition. We provide inspections for:

You will never have to worry about remembering to schedule your inspection. One month before your inspection is due we will send you a reminder and schedule a time to complete the inspection that is convenient for you.
Our inspectors are trained to inspect and test your systems to provincial and federal standards. Reports and an inspection certificate are sent to you in a timely manner upon completion of your inspection. If deficiencies are found, we will work with you to identify the areas of concern and make the necessary repairs.
If emergency service is required, our technicians have fully equipped service vehicles and are available 24-7 to get your system back up and running with minimal interruption.
Audibility Upgrades
Taplay Fire Protection is equipped to meet all of your Audibility Upgrade needs. We will arrange for the design, engineering, equipment supply, installation and verification for your system.
